Golden Arches And More
It's been 4 years since I've eaten at Mc Donald's. I know this because the last time I ate there was when we were in Sochi, Russia for the 2014 winter games. It is something we do every 4 years now.
The lines have been consistently long at The Arches here in Korea. We finally decided to take the plunge and wait it out. Turns out we chose well. I think we only waited 15 minutes, which seems crazy I know but that's a win in this environment.
I had the McSpicey Chicken Sandwich which was decent as wel as some fries and mozzarella stricks. With Marissa getting two burgers and fries herself it turned out to be our biggest meal so far I think.
We took our food to go and ate at The North face TNF village. I really like the ambiance here. The open fire is a nice bit of warmth and it's all themed very well. They also apparently give out pins every day and that line crazy long. Mid lunch the workers broke out into some kind of dance which Marissa dubbed "the Korean shovel dance". It was all very festive and now I sort of have a food coma. I guess I ate enough.
